As a fashion photographer there are a certain amount of ideals that come with the territory.. and hold a bit of a "like it or lump it" attitude. One of which, I am pretty tired of lumping..
SKIN & BONES fashion models.
Why oh why... its excruciating to me.
Now while I under stand there is a certain aesthetic required for fashion models.. (we all love a bit of height, and some great hair, and perfectly aligned features...)
For Gods sake.
Give these girls a hamburger or a LOT of tofu.
Take the H & M magazine spring cover 09 for example.. Horrible.
This girls legs are the size of my arm and it looks like I could gain an injury if I bumped into those hips.
Contrary to a popular belief, a swimsuit does not look good on a twig or waif.
Designers... no one believes that stupid adage that "the clothes hang better" on a size zero.
Get a grip.
I'll take a Glamazon chick over a coked out cigarette smoking "it" girl any day.

Fashion is just too extreme.....whether is the aneroxic look or "large and in charge":
